FAQ's
What is Wholeness and Transformation Coaching?
Change can only take permanent root within us if we make the change from the inside out, not from the outside in. Change based on things, people, and places outside is fleeting unfulfilling change. Change is a very personal inside job because true lasting change starts from within the core of who and what we are as an individual, and as a human. It is here that transformation and reconnection to your wholeness occurs.
I coach women to make inside-out changes. YOU discover what stops you from aligning yourself with your essence, your desires and dreams, and where your blind spots are. I collaborate with you to move forward to create and live a life that YOU can define as successful and fulfilling on your terms.
How long are the Coaching Sessions?
Sessions are normally 45-50 minutes including time for end-of-session questions. Upon intake, all session details and requirements are clearly explained.
Do you do Face-to-Face or Zoom Sessions?
If you mean face-to-face in the ‘traditional’ sense, the answer is NO. All sessions are technology-driven meaning through Zoom or other connection platforms.
NOTE: Scheduled meeting times must be free of distractions, or the session can be canceled and none refundable. Full attention is non-negotiable. Ensure you give yourself that gift of self-care.
Do you coach International Clients?
YES. However, there must be no limiting language barriers (speaking or understanding). My primary and only language is English. My primary focus is to serve your coaching needs to the best of my ability, and it would be a disservice to you if there were a language issue because that would make it difficult for you to get the maximum benefit from the coaching sessions.
Are there contacts and waivers to sign?
YES. As with most businesses that deal with clients, there are ‘must-do requirements. My coaching business is no different. You would receive a ‘coaching intake package.’ Yes, among other forms, a contract for coaching services would be included. The other forms help you become clear regarding your needs as well as help me get to know your needs better. No worries, all will be explained.
What is the difference between Coaching and Counseling?
The major difference is that a psychologist, licensed counselor, and psychiatrist, deal with deeply held painful traumas, mental and bodily chemical disorders, and past hurts. The training and licensing required for those medical fields are much different than the requirements necessary for being a coach. Seek the professional services of a psychologist, licensed counselor, or psychiatrist if you feel you are experiencing deeply held emotional trauma you need to process NOT coaching.
As a coach, I primarily deal with the person you are as you appear before me in that present moment. Any question asked about your past would and should be related to how it affects your achieving the goal and outcome you seek from the coaching services. The intent for an individual to process thoughts, feelings, or emotions during a coaching session is very different, indeed. Remember: As our collaboration moves along if I feel you need the deeper professionalism of a licensed psychologist or other, I will immediately discontinue coaching/consulting services and recommend you seek those services.
In addition, if it has become apparent, at any point, that you, as the client, are negatively unwilling to take any responsibility for your part in what is created in your life and we are making no forward movement progress due to a lack of personal commitment on your part, I reserve the right to discontinue services. Which will allow you to find someone who may better serve your needs. No refund for services will be given.
Who is your IDEAL Client?
My ideal client is a person who is committed to improving upon the life they are living at present. A person who understands life and living can be difficult, at times but they hold the power to "make lemonade out of lemons." A person committed to their self-care which would include pursuing the things they hold as important dreams and desires for themselves. The person who may not always feel 'worthy' but deep down inside know that they are. The person who is willing to admit to themselves that they have gone as far as they can go on their own and now there is a need for an ‘extra hand of encouragement & empowerment’ to get to whatever is the ‘next’ level in their life. A person is not sure if they are courageous, but they very much are. Courage is what it takes to ask for support. My ideal client is a person who is motivated and understands that one must first put forth an effort (have ‘skin in the game’) to achieve results. My ideal client is the person who will do the work that will be asked of them despite fears, anger, negative thoughts and feelings, feelings of resentment or resistance. Believe me, feelings will come up for you as you do the 'work'! This person values the quality of life they seek to live over the amount of money it would cost them to get it.
The real question isn’t about how much does coaching cost? The question is how much is achieving your heart's desires worth to you? How would your life be different, better, more expanded, and happier? The value is in creating the life you want to live. My ideal client feels driven to get past their fears and internal resistance and is willing to give up the rut of their ‘comfort zone’ to create a life that means fulfillment and success beyond measure to them. This person has a deep ‘burning’ desire to grow in wholeness and transform themselves which in turn transforms their life at whatever the cost. Most importantly my ideal client has given themselves permission to ‘LIVE’ not simply exist and move with the ‘flow and status quo’ of life. They are really to bet on themselves, for a change.
